Introduction to Öko Tex Standard 100

The seal Textiles Trust is one of the most important quality certificates in Germany that verifies the absence of harmful substances in textiles. If a product is certified according to ÖKO-Tex Standard 100, it has been tested for a total of 100 harmful substances, as well as optical brighteners and health-threatening contents. All products that we offer in our Mister Sandman webshop are certified with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class 1.

Öko Tex Standard 100 - Guaranteed high quality

Since the use of bedding and mattresses involves a lot of skin contact, the testing requirements here are particularly strict. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 can only be awarded to manufacturers if the textiles do not contain prohibited dyes, such as nickel or formaldehyde, or health-hazardous chemicals. The certification becomes valid only after the applicant signs a commitment and conformity declaration following the quality assurance measures. Both the mattresses and the sleep accessories from Mister Sandman are tested for health-hazardous substances, such as carcinogenic dyes and chemicals, and are therefore particularly suitable for allergy sufferers, babies, and toddlers.
